Friday's meeting tentatively cancelled

Unfortunately, I will not be able to organize Friday's
meeting because of a family emergency (wife has to
work and I can't get babysitting).

That, and due to no response to my request on this
mailing list a week ago for volunteer speakers and due
to the historical low turnouts at July meetings, makes
it easy to say that few CHLUGers will be disappointed
if we cancel.

I will be disappointed, for one, however, because I
loathe to break the consistency of our meeting
schedule, and the room is already paid for and open to
us, but I'm sort of powerless for the above stated
reason...

Jerry, I'm on vacation and wouldn't be attending anyway. I agree about not wanting to break the consistency of our meetings but unfortunately I can not help out this time around. Sorry. Take care and I'll see everyone next meeting. John

I would like to take this meeting time for discussion with the library to
discuss the donated PC project, loaning CDs, etc. Mr. Brady, who is in
charge of technology for the library, will be joining us for part of the
meeting. This is an opportunity for us to get feedback on our library ideas
from the person in charge. How many people would still attend? We still
have the room, right?

I'll get there about 7:10 / 7:15 if the meeting is really going to
happen..............................
When I leave the house tomorrow (Fri: 8:15AM), if I don't see an email
stating the meeting is "on", I will not be in attendance.

I'll be there, Mr. Brady will be there. Discussion about the library will
take place. Nothing else is planned. We could always think of something
else to do for the rest of the time, perhaps even installing some free
software on library computers. But that means the first part went really
well. The more people that show up the better...

tow. I will probably only be able to drop in and out.

I will drop off some flyers adevertising the next
meeting to anybody that is willing to take a couple
and hang them locally.
